Hi, I'm Natalie — a Junior Software Developer based in London.

I started programming in 2022 and have been lucky enough to travel extensively (mostly across Africa and Asia) while learning to code. With over ten years of experience in healthcare, I’ve since transitioned into tech and now work as the sole developer at Protolyst, a collaborative research platform.

My background in pharmacy, hospitals, and general practice has given me strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset — all of which I bring to my work as a developer.

When I’m not coding, I enjoy running, scuba diving, and getting stuck into complex board games.

I specialise in full-stack JavaScript development — including React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Firebase — along with HTML, CSS, and tools like Bootstrap and Sass.

I’m passionate about building thoughtful, user-focused applications and am always eager to keep learning and take on new challenges.

Cocktail Recommendation Website
A responsive website that consumes an external API and enables the user to search for recipes and filter by name or ingredients. Fetched recipes are displayed on interactive flipcards.

Cocktail API and Documentation Website
A RESTful API that enables the user to get data from, and add to, a dataset of cocktail recipes. The documentation site displays details of endpoints, parameters and responses. The interface allows the user to easily customise and send test requests.
